SO MANY TIMES WE WISH FOR WISDOM

If Only I Knew the Wise Thing to Do

How Can I Be Wise ??

God Gave King Solomon the Gift of Wisdom…. and Made Him

the Wisest Man Who Ever Lived

We learn from him in book of Proverbs.

“Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do”   Proverbs 4:7

WE NEED WISDOM TO DO THE RIGHT THING

WISDOM WHEN THE ENEMY TEMPS US TO MAKE DANGEROUS CHOICES

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN SHARKS OF LIFE WAIT TO

ATTACK… DEVOUR…DESTROY ALL WE HAVE

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN IT FEELS LIKE GIANT WAVES

WILL CRUSH US AGAINST LAVA ROCKS

And life will not survive or ever be the same.

WHEN ALL IS WELL AND LIFE IS GOOD AND PLEASANT

GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN PEOPLE FAR AWAY NEED

GOD’S GREAT LOVE

WHEN GOD SAYS GO AND WE SAY NO….. I’M TOO BUSY

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN IT IS TIME

STEP OUT OF COMFORT ZONE

LEARN A NEW SKILL

LIVE BY FAITH

GO FOR GOLD

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN LIFE IS

Slow… Boring…Standing Still… Mundane and

Seems Like Wasting Away

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN EVERYONE WATCHES

Will We Strikeout, Walk, Hit or Homer

When People expect a Winner

and We Disappoint or Fail

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN WE FEEL LIKE

A Jelly Fish…. Aimless, Upside Down, Tangled Up

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN FAMILY IS PLAYING WITH FIRE

And we are not sure what to do next

WE NEED WISDOM AT END OF DAY AND

Doubts Arise

Loneliness Attacks

People Hurt Us

We have Fallen Down

WE NEED WISDOM WHEN IT SEEMS LIKE

GOD NO LONGER CARES ABOUT OUR TROUBLES

WE NEED WISDOM TO JUMP FOR JOY

To Embrace His Grace in this Race for Life

SEE WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT WISDOM IN HIS POWERFUL WORD

“My gifts(of wisdom) are better than pure gold” Prov.8:19

“The fear of the Lord(deep respect and love for Lord) is the beginning of wisdom and

wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life”

Prov. 9:10-11

“Wisdom is far more valuable than wealth”  Prov.8:2

“Those who love me (wisdom) inherit wealth (ultimate spiritual Blessings) for I fill their treasuries” Prov. 8;21

How Can We Practice Wisdom ?

Several Simple Ways to Follow

Ask for it…   “If any man lacks wisdom let him ask of God”

Obey the writings of God in the Bible….It is His wisdom for us

When we obey the Bible “Wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will

fill you with joy” Prov. 2;10

Listen to Wise godly men and women who are more mature.

“Whoever walks with the wise will become wise” Prov. 13:20

Wait for the Lord to make your decision clear

Watch for God to open doors and make circumstances appear.

Let warning signs help you avoid mistakes of past

“WHOEVER FINDS ME WISDOM…. FINDS LIFE AND WINS APPROVAL FROM THE LORD”
